Lincoln Bowl Acquired by Hollywood Bowl

Monday 2^nd October: It is a winning strike for a ten-pin bowling centre in Lincoln, after Hollywood Bowl announced its plans to invest in upgrading the centre following its acquisition.

The UK’s leading ten-pin bowling and competitive socialising business, which operates 71 centres nationwide, has acquired the 20 lane Lincoln Bowl and plans to transform the centre with a half-million-pound refurbishment in early 2024.

David Williams, Operations Director at Hollywood Bowl said: “We are excited to be bringing the Hollywood Bowl bowling and entertainment experience to Lincoln and are committed to investing in the centre’s future with exciting enhancements taking place early next year. We are also delighted to be welcoming the existing Lincoln Bowl team into the Hollywood Bowl family.

“To get the ball rolling, we will make some immediate changes including allowing guests to pre-book online and to wear their own shoes to bowl in. We will ensure Hollywood Bowl Lincoln offers a great value experience for friends and families of all ages to have fun and make memories together, whilst they enjoy great bowling, quality food and drinks, as well as an exciting amusement area.” 

Lincoln Bowl’s signage will immediately change to Hollywood Bowl with some notable other changes including:

• Pre-book online via an integrated website and reservation system – making it easier to guarantee your lane
• Wear your own shoes to bowl in
• Take advantage of some great offers, such as Hollywood Bowl’s family deal and Kids eat, drink and bowl offer
• Choose from a new range of party packages including Hollywood Bowl’s famous Christmas parties.
